Last year I began using KiCad EDA for my PCB needs. The learning curve was not too bad, and I’ve made any PCB I’ve talked about here using it. KiCad support templates for boards, and I’ve decided to take full advantage of it, and bring anyone else willing along for the fun. My first template is for the friendlyElec NanoPi NEO. This is a tiny board with a quad core cortex A7 or A53 (Allwinner H3 or H5). A bunch of varieties exist, the template applies to all.
